Job Summary:
Vantor is forging the new frontier of spatial intelligence, helping decision makers and operators navigate whatโ€™s happening now and shape whatโ€™s coming next. The Software Engineer (Mid) role involves designing, building, integrating, and sustaining secure technical capabilities that support high-volume analysis and mission operations, contributing to AI-enabled, data-driven solutions in secure environments.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions
โ€ข Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software
โ€ข Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
โ€ข Ensures software standards are met
โ€ข Experience with cloud platforms, system integration, and database management is also important
โ€ข Individual should be strategic, up-to-date with industry trends, and able to align engineering goals with business objectives
โ€ข Certifications in project management and specific technologies are beneficial
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข U.S. Citizen
โ€ข Active U.S. Government security clearance at the TS/SCI level with CI Polygraph
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 4-7 years of software development experience
โ€ข Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, software design methodologies, and development tools
โ€ข Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
โ€ข Capable of designing and implementing complex software components with minimal supervision
โ€ข Active Top Secret clearance with CI Polygraph
