Job Summary:
Vantor is forging the new frontier of spatial intelligence, helping decision makers and operators navigate whatโ€™s happening now and shape whatโ€™s coming next. They are seeking a mid-level Full Stack Developer with a strong data engineering and backend focus to support the development and operation of cloud-based ETL pipelines for mission-critical geospatial and location-based data workflows.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Build, operate, and maintain ETL pipelines in AWS, leveraging Apache NiFi and Python.
โ€ข Work directly within AWS environments to deploy, configure, and support data pipeline components.
โ€ข Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to retrieve data from internal and external sources for ingestion.
โ€ข Implement data transformation, validation, and enrichment logic to support downstream use cases.
โ€ข Produce clean, consistent JSON data layers consumed by enterprise application developers.
โ€ข Support processing of high-volume, location-based and geospatial datasets.
โ€ข Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance in production.
โ€ข Collaborate with application developers, data engineers, and government stakeholders to ensure data products meet mission needs.
โ€ข Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, standups, demos, and retrospectives.

Qualifications:
Required:

โ€ข Active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level with required polygraph

โ€ข 3โ€“6 years of professional software development or data engineering experience
โ€ข Strong, hands-on experience building, deploying, and supporting production data workflows in AWS, with direct use of services such as S3, EC2, Lambda, and RDS
โ€ข Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines using Apache NiFi
โ€ข Proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development
โ€ข Experience working with REST APIs for data ingestion and integration

โ€ข Willingness to work onsite full time
