Quality Manager
Join our Madison, WI team, as a full-time onsite Quality Manager and help elevate our manufacturing operations. We're looking for a hands-on leader who excels in regulated, fast-moving environments and is passionate about building strong quality systems, guiding teams, and ensuring outstanding customer outcomes.   • Full-time, onsite: 8 AM - 5 PM | Monday - Friday

What You'll Do
  • Lead the Quality Team across Madison locations, providing oversight, resource allocation, workload management, morale support, and cross-functional leadership collaboration to drive high-performance quality operations.
  • Own all customer quality complaints end-to-end, including customer/sales communication, root cause analysis with Engineering, Production, Tooling, and Marketing, and implementation of corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Manage the site CAPA program, ensuring timely resolution, documentation, effectiveness verification, and continuous improvement.
  • Direct external audits and maintain compliance with SQF, ISO 9001, and customer-specific standards; lead the internal audit program to strengthen quality systems.
  • Administer the Pest Control program with vendor oversight.
  • Lead Regulatory Affairs, ensuring compliant, up-to-date documentation aligned with food, medical, custom, and retail requirements.
  • Assist in QMS software implementation, migrating from Excel/file-based systems to a controlled digital platform to enhance data integrity, traceability, and efficiency.
  • Oversee New Product Development (NPD) Quality/Validation studies to support successful product launches.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on presentations, data-driven recommendations, and strategic decisions impacting quality, compliance, and operations.
  • Manage the Site Quality budget, identifying efficiencies, cost reductions, and resource optimization opportunities.
  • Oversee the HACCP program, ensuring robust food safety risk management and compliance.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or STEM-related discipline
  • 3 years of leadership experience within a regulated industry
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Experience with SQF, ISO, HACCP, or regulated manufacturing environments preferred
  • Knowledge of quality systems, audits, CAPA, and controlled documentation
  • Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to use standard office software, ERP systems, and QMS tools
  • Ability to work in office, lab, and manufacturing environments
  • Minimal travel (less than 5%) to customers, vendors, and audits
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred
  • Highly valued experience includes HACCP Lead responsibilities, SQF and ISO system management, and Food Defense Manager certification.
