Job Title: Tow and Show Demo Operator Representative

Location: Baltimore, Maryland

Shift: 1st

Starting Compensation Range: $26.36 - $33.13 per hour 

The Tow and Show Demo Operator Representative is responsible for transporting equipment to customer locations and conducting hands-on machine demonstrations to introduce prospective customers to our products. The individual in this role serves as a key connection between customers and the sales team by creating positive first experiences, showcasing machine capabilities, and generating qualified sales opportunities.

What You Will Do: 

  • Safely transport equipment using an F350 and trailer to customer locations, job sites, dealer events, and demonstrations
  • Set up, conduct, and support machine demonstrations for prospective and existing customers
  • Educate customers on machine features, benefits, applications, and operating procedures
  • Encourage customers to operate equipment and gain hands-on experience with machines
  • Build relationships with contractors, business owners, operators, and other prospective customers
  • Partner with sales representatives to identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities
  • Coordinate logistics for equipment transportation, delivery schedules, and demonstration events
  • Ensure equipment is clean, fueled, maintained, and presentation-ready for customer events
  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and trailer inspections
  • Maintain compliance with all DOT, company, and safety requirements
  • Gather customer feedback and communicate market insights to sales and management teams
  • Represent the company professionally at trade shows, open houses, customer events, and community activities
  • Work in coordination with team to achieve Continuous Improvement goals and objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Experience operating skid steers, compact track loaders, mini excavators, or related equipment
  • Knowledge of equipment applications and customer job site requirements
  • Sales, rental, or equipment demonstration experience
  • DOT compliance and trailer hauling experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent driving record
  • Experience towing equipment with heavy-duty pickup trucks and trailers; Ability to secure equipment using chains, binders, and tie-down devices
  • Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territory
  • Familiarity with construction, compact equipment, agricultural, or rental equipment, preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate equipment operation safely and confidently
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management skills
