Business Application Manager - CRM, ERP

As a Business Application Manager (BAM), you will oversee the lifecycle of corporate softwareโ€”including CRM, ERP, and specialized toolsโ€”to ensure they align with business goals, run reliably, and remain secure. You will bridge the gap between IT and business users, managing vendor relationships, application upgrades, user access, and training.

  • Design, configure, maintain, and upgrade our business software applications in the fields of CRM, ERP and Business Reporting (cloud based).
  • Act as a key stakeholder in our business software upgrade projects:
    • Legacy CRM applications to Dynamics 365 Sales
    • Legacy ERP applications to Dynamics 365 Business Central
    • Legacy Business Reporting applications to Microsoft Azure Data Lake and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Strategic Alignment: Work with stakeholders and external partners to ensure that our stack of business software enhances business efficiency.
  • Support & Troubleshooting: Provide high-level technical support, analyse system malfunctions, and ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Governance & Documentation:
    • Create and enforce application standards, security protocols, data integrity checks, and user documentation.
    • Design, maintain and document our core business processes in collaboration with the different business entities and ensure that the business software support these processes.
  • Vendor Management : Manage vendors relationship, and follow-up the budget for software licenses and support.
  • Software Asset Management (SAM): Build and maintain the comprehensive list of business application software and its related items (users, roles, licenses, etc.).
ProfileProfessional profile & background
  • You have a bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in a computer science or equivalent through experience.
  • You have 3 or more years of experience in a similar role.
  • You are able to understand and analyse business requests, provide conceptual solutions and turn them into reliable, scalable solutions for all users.
  • You have proven experience in BPM (Business Process Modelling).
  • You have proven relevant work experience(s) with some of the following technologies:
    • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
    • Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate and Power Virtual Agents).
    • Microsoft Cloud Technology (especially Azure).
    • Microsoft SQL Server.
    • CAD / CAM software.
    • Product Configuration software / Configure Price Quote (CPQ).
  • You have proven work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • You are fluent in English and have a very good professional knowledge of Dutch and French (spoken and written).
