Job description

  • Tier One Technologies is seeking a Radar Integration & Test Engineer to support our U.S. Government client.
  • This 18-month on-site contract position will be located in Moorestown, NJ or Syracuse, NY.
  • Periodic domestic travel to Clear, AK or Huntsville, AL, as well as occasional international travel to locations such as Spain, Japan, or Guam, may be required.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must hold either an active DoD Secret clearance or an interim Secret clearance.
  • SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

  • Support Integration & Test activities by executing procedures, evaluating test results, investigating discrepancies, providing technical support, resolving anomalies, and driving issues to closure.
  • This includes but not limited to working with Radar Signal Processor (RSP), Radar Control Processor (RCP), Health Monitoring and Maintenance (HMS), Active Electronically Steered Array (AESA) as well as other Configuration Items (CI) within the Radar end-user environment.
  • Perform regression testing.
  • Support requirements engineering activities.
  • Develop and maintain test procedures.
  • Conduct System Verification and Support Certification Activities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent technical discipline.
  • 6+ years of applicable IT experience
  • Functional knowledge of Radar Systems, Subsystems and Components
  • Support site installs, checkout and integration testing, formal test events.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work non-standard work.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • All candidates must be U.S. citizens and currently hold either an active DoD Secret clearance or an interim Secret clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Radar Systems including Signal Processing, Algorithms, Software, Data Analysis, and Modeling & Simulation.
  • Experience with RF systems or antenna testing including near-field and far-field measurement techniques.
  • Experience with test plan and test procedure development.
  • Experience with Software Requirements Verification.
  • Experience with Electronic Protection Techniques.
  • Experience with Formal Test Events.
  • Experience with Automated Test tools and Techniques.
  • Experience with MATLAB, C++ or Python.
  • Experience with Model Based Engineering, SysML.
  • Experience working on Agile Development Team in an accelerated environment.
  • Experience with Linux, git, GitLab, Confluence Tool Suite, DOORs, Cameo.
