Insight Space Psychotherapy Collective invites applications for the role of Licensed Mental Health Therapist. This position is ideal for licensed professionals specializing in marriage and family therapy, clinical social work, or professional clinical counseling to join our dedicated team. As a full-time therapist, you will provide critical support and therapeutic care for individuals grappling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

This is a fully remote position, allowing you the flexibility to perform your duties in a comfortable and productive environment. However, you will engage closely with our interdisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to foster a collaborative approach in addressing complex client needs. Regular virtual meetings and case conferences will ensure you remain integrated and supported in your professional role.

• Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to identify mental health and substance use challenges, ensuring accurate diagnoses, particularly in detecting co-occurring disorders.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients in developing individualized therapeutic plans that reflect evidence-based techniques, tailored to target their mental health and substance use concerns.
• Therapy Sessions: Provide both individual and group therapeutic interventions, focusing on skills such as coping, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention strategies, fostering a supportive healing environment.
• Multidisciplinary Coordination: Work in tandem with your colleagues to synchronize treatment efforts, ensuring clients receive comprehensive and cohesive care focused on their overall success.
• Monitoring Progress: Implement regular monitoring of clients' substance use while employing motivational interviewing techniques to inspire and support ongoing recovery efforts.
• Education and Support: Offer educational resources and information to clients and families regarding the connections between mental health and substance use, emphasizing the importance of adhering to treatment plans.
• Documentation: Maintain precise documentation of treatment processes, interventions, and outcomes, complying with ethical and legal standards.
• Professional Development: Actively engage in team meetings, trainings, and workshops aimed at improving knowledge and therapeutic practices related to co-occurring disorders.

Your primary focus will be individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, who may also present with a range of other challenges. You will assess and treat clients from diverse backgrounds, each requiring tailored support strategies to navigate their unique recovery paths.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Proven experience with evidence-based practice methods in treating co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaborative relationships within an interdisciplinary team setting.

• Experience working in a community health clinic or similar setting, with a focus on diverse populations.
• Prior engagement with program development or implementation of innovative treatment approaches for co-occurring disorders.
• Familiarity with remote therapy practices and relevant technological platforms enhancing client engagement.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually.
