Position Overview

Insight Space Psychotherapy Collective is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will hold relevant licensure (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) and will be instrumental in providing integrated care for individuals grappling with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from home while contributing to a compassionate team environment. Our telehealth facility is equipped with the latest digital tools to ensure seamless communication and care delivery. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to provide a well-rounded approach to therapy.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct extensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health and substance use concerns, effectively identifying co-occurring disorders.
• Work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based interventions to address both mental health and substance use challenges.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients build coping strategies, establish relapse prevention techniques, and improve emotional regulation.
• Engage in regular care coordination with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that clients receive comprehensive, integrated support.
• Monitor clients’ substance use through regular check-ins and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage progress and commitment to treatment.
• Educate clients and their families on the connections between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
• Maintain precise documentation regarding treatment interventions, client progress, and referrals while adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.
• Actively participate in case conferences and trainings to further hone your expertise in addressing co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will work with often face the dual challenges of mental health issues and substance use disorders. Your role is crucial in breaking the stigma and barriers they face, providing empathetic and professional support as they navigate their recovery paths. You will help clients build resilience and skills necessary for sustainable recovery, focusing on their holistic wellbeing in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, particularly for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• A strong understanding of the intricacies of mental health and substance use disorders and their interactions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a telehealth or remote care setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with the latest digital health tools and platforms utilized for therapy and client engagement.
• Experience in conducting group therapy sessions and facilitating workshops related to recovery and personal growth.

Compensation and Benefits

Insight Space Psychotherapy Collective offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
