The Cooper’s Hawk Dishwasher is critical to the success of the company and plays an integral role in ensuring a positive experience for each restaurant Guest. The Dishwasher ensures items are properly cleaned and stored, the dish machine is well maintained, and the dish area is kept sanitary, clean, and organized.

What You’ll Do  

  • Assist operational excellence by cleaning and restocking all plates, dishes, utensils, glasses, silverware, pots, pans in the restaurant 
  • Clean and maintain the dishwasher as directed 
  • Sweep and mop the kitchen floors as needed or as directed 
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe back dock by cleaning it as required 
  • Ensure a clean work environment by breaking down and removing all garbage and boxes to the dumpster or designated area 
  • Assist in receiving products when requested 
  • Adhere to all kitchen systems and standards 
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized and stocked work area 
  • Maintain professional relationships and clear communications with all Managers and Team Members 
  • Follow departmental checklists and standard operating procedures to ensure work areas are prepared for opening, mid-shift or closing in accordance with company guidelines  
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

What You’ll Need 

  • Must represent Cooper’s Hawk Values 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age 
  • Experience working in a restaurant; high-volume, full-service restaurant experience preferred 
  • An individual who thrives in a team-based environment 
  • Has a passion for guest service and hospitality-focused 
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English 
  • Ability to communicate clearly with Guests, Managers and Team Members  
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and some holidays  
  • Ability to multi-task and work calmly and effectively under pressure, in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 
  • Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift 
  • Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length 
  • Ability to work within the following conditions: wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise 
  • Ability to perform essential functions to Cooper’s Hawk standards with reasonable accommodation
