Job description

Markon is seeking a Move Manager to support space planning, occupancy management, and personnel move coordination across a dynamic facilities environment. This role will participate in all phases of planning and execution for facility moves, working closely with end users, designers, project managers, and government stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant space utilization. The Move Manager will analyze building usage data, develop move strategies, and coordinate complex personnel relocations while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and space planning requirements. This position requires strong communication, coordination, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and support stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership. Travel may be required, including periodic OCONUS trips, to support facility audits and move execution. Responsibilities * Gather, analyze, and coordinate customer requirements related to space planning and personnel moves.
* Support planning processes by analyzing building utilization data (seating, occupancy rates, allocations).
* Develop recommendations for personnel move strategies, including goals, objectives, and alternatives.
* Coordinate with designers, engineers, project managers, QA teams, and directorate representatives.
* Serve as a key liaison with CIO/LOG/FLS organizations to manage move scope, schedules, and execution.
* Facilitate stakeholder meetings, briefings, and training sessions.
* Conduct space audits and walkthroughs to ensure proper utilization and personnel bed-down.
* Perform field measurements and resolve spatial orientation challenges.
* Review and interpret blueprints, floorplans, and space layouts using tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
* Utilize ARCHIBUS or similar CAFM systems to manage space data and generate utilization reports.
* Track and report on capacity, occupancy, and vacancy metrics.
* Oversee execution of personnel moves, ensuring adherence to processes, timelines, and requirements.
* Maintain and update planning and compliance documentation related to move activities.
* Communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders regarding move plans and status.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on organizational needs. Qualifications * TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph * Bachelor's degree
* 5+ years of experience supporting space planning, facilities planning, or move management activities.
* Experience using ARCHIBUS or similar CAFM systems.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floorplans, and space layouts.
* Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
* Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating occupancy and utilization data.
* Excellent customer service, communication, and coordination skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Adobe tools.
* Ability to travel as required, including periodic domestic and international (OCONUS) travel.

* Experience supporting large-scale facility moves or government environments.
* Familiarity with facilities management processes and compliance requirements.
* Experience interacting with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Salary Range USD $100,000.00 - USD $120,000.00 /Yr.
