Purpose

The Spa Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day flow and operations of the spa while providing exceptional guest service and supporting Spa Technicians. This position ensures that guests receive a welcoming, comfortable, and seamless experience from arrival through departure while maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the spa.

Essential FunctionsGuest Experience & Service
  • Welcome and assist spa guests in a warm, professional, and attentive manner.
  • Provide guests with appropriate lockers, towels, sandals, robes, and other amenities based on their service needs.
  • Clearly explain spa procedures and assist guests with preparing for their scheduled services.
  • Provide refreshments and other guest amenities as requested.
  • Assist guests with questions, requests, and general spa needs throughout their visit.
  • Schedule future appointments and recommend additional spa services when appropriate.
  • Maintain a professional, welcoming, and relaxing atmosphere at all times.
Spa Operations & Technician Support
  • Monitor guest flow throughout the spa and ensure guests are prepared and in the appropriate area for their scheduled services.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with Spa Technicians regarding guest arrivals, client flow, appointment changes, delays, and special requests.
  • Assist Spa Technicians with treatment room preparation and ensure rooms are properly stocked and ready for each service.
  • Refill professional products and supplies used by Spa Technicians as needed.
  • Assist with ordering and/or picking up spa lunches, breakfasts, or other items as necessary.
  • Communicate any operational concerns, guest issues, supply needs, or other relevant information to the Spa Manager/Supervisor.
Laundry & Room Preparation
  • Collect soiled linens, including sheets, blankets, towels, robes, and other spa linens, and place them in the appropriate receptacles.
  • Fold, organize, and store clean laundry as necessary.
  • Change treatment room linens and prepare rooms before and after each service.
  • Maintain adequate supplies in treatment rooms and guest areas.
  • Assist Spa Technicians with room setup and turnover between appointments.
Cleaning, Sanitation & Safety
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary spa treatment rooms and common areas throughout the shift.
  • Perform general cleaning duties in accordance with state board requirements and company sanitation standards.
  • Ensure treatment rooms and spa areas are cleaned and properly sanitized before and after services.
  • Keep all spa areas neat, orderly, and guest-ready at all times.
  • Follow all established health, safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
Daily Operations
  • Complete all opening, closing, and daily operational procedures outlined on the current Daily Procedure Checklist.
  • Monitor spa supplies and communicate inventory needs to the appropriate manager.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Spa Manager/Supervisor regarding daily operations, guest concerns, staffing needs, schedule changes, and other relevant information.
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, standards, and service expectations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling guest and employee information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
