Position overview

The assistant spa director plays a key role in the success of the location by supporting daily operations, leading team performance, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving sales growth. You'll partner closely with the spa director to manage operations, coach employees, maintain high service standards, and ensure the location consistently meets business goals.

Key responsibilities

Leadership & team development:

  • Lead, motivate, and coach team members to achieve individual and store goals.
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new employees.
  • Create a positive, engaging, and performance-driven work environment.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and recognition to team members.
  • Help establish clear expectations and accountability.

Sales & customer service:

  • Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Drive membership, product, and service sales.
  • Consistently achieve personal and store performance goals.
  • Build relationships with customers and provide personalized wellness recommendations.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.

Operations & business management:

  • Support daily spa operations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory management.
  • Assist with scheduling and staffing to maximize productivity.
  • Review operational reports and performance metrics.
  • Help control expenses and support revenue growth initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

  • Ability to bend, reach, and lift products, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ability to perform cleaning and sanitation duties.
  • Ability to lift and carry boxes and supplies as needed.
