We're excited to bring our signature spa experience to Olympia and are looking for an experienced, passionate Spa Manager to lead our newest location from the very beginning.

About the Role

The Spa Manager is the leader of the Olympia spa team and is responsible for the daily operations, guest experience, team development, and overall success of the location.

As the opening manager, you'll play a critical role in launching the spa, hiring and developing the front desk team, creating a welcoming culture, and ensuring every guest experiences the warmth, professionalism, and relaxation Serenity Spa is known for.

You'll work closely with senior leadership while supporting massage therapists, estheticians, and front desk staff to ensure operational excellence, outstanding customer service, and strong sales performance.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership, coaching, operations, and hospitality while maintaining the calm and welcoming atmosphere that defines Serenity Spa.



What You'll Do

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and mentor Spa Coordinators.
  • Build a positive, supportive, and accountable team culture.
  • Coach and develop employees through regular feedback and quarterly performance check-ins.
  • Lead monthly front desk team meetings.
  • Collaborate with Massage and Esthetics Leads to support practitioners and ensure exceptional guest care.
  • Attend monthly Leadership Team meetings and participate in ongoing leadership development.

Guest Experience

  • Ensure every guest receives exceptional, personalized service.
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and compassionately.
  • Maintain the relaxing, welcoming atmosphere Serenity Spa is known for.
  • Train staff on service recovery and guest retention strategies.

Operations

  • Oversee daily front desk operations including scheduling, phones, check-in, and check-out.
  • Monitor daily appointment schedules to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Review unpaid tickets, discounts, and scheduling opportunities.
  • Manage inventory of retail products and spa supplies.
  • Ensure computers, tablets, and front desk technology remain operational.
  • Coordinate team schedules, approve time-off requests, and maintain staffing coverage.

Sales & Business Growth

  • Lead the front desk team in membership, package, retail, and service upgrade sales.
  • Coach employees on effective sales techniques while maintaining a guest-first approach.
  • Track sales performance and celebrate team successes.
  • Help grow the Olympia location through exceptional service, guest retention, and community engagement.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
  • Ability to work Tuesday through Saturday.
