Be Part of Something New on Chicago’s North Shore

Woodhouse Day Spa is a high end luxury day spa national brand with more than 100 locations across the country — and we're bringing it to the North Shore for the first time. As our founding Spa Manager, you'll be building the spa from the ground up: hiring the founding team, setting the tone for guest experience, and shaping what "Woodhouse Highland Park" means.
  • The owners: work in the spa day to day as true partners, not a distant corporate office.
  • Established national brand: you get its marketing muscle, training systems, operational excellence, and reputation.
  • A ground-floor opportunity: clear path to grow as the owner's North Shore presence expands.
What You'll Do - Run the Spa, Day to Day
  • Manage daily spa operations from open to close
  • Schedule team members efficiently, balancing service demand with staffing
  • Maximize inventory
  • Use software and reporting tools to analyze the spa's overall performance
  • Ensure guests have a consistent, phenomenal high touch concierge white glove experience
  • Partner closely with the Owner on business planning and growth priorities
Build the Team
  • Help the owners source candidates, conduct screens, interviews, and in-spa demos
  • Manage the formal application, state license verification, and background/reference check process
Onboard and Develop Talent
  • Guide new hires through paperwork, set new hires up in the POS system and training/learning platform and Woodhouse protocols.
  • Demonstrate service and guest-experience expectations firsthand
What We're Looking For
  • Current or former Woodhouse Spa Manager experience is a strong plus and we'll make relocation to the North Shore worth your while
  • Experience in a spa, retail, hospitality, or cosmetics management position
  • Strong guest relations and people-management experience
  • Comfort owning the full hiring lifecycle — from sourcing through onboarding
  • Administrative, computer, organizational, communication, retailing, and training skills
Perks
  • Competitive base pay plus performance-based bonus incentives
  • Paid vacation and garage parking
  • Generous discounts and opportunities to enjoy spa services and products
  • Paid training program, plus ongoing development
  • Relocation assistance for candidates with current or former Woodhouse Spa Manager experience
Why Woodhouse Highland Park
  • National brand, local ownership — the credibility and systems of an established franchise, with owners who work in the spa day to day and are invested in this specific location's success
  • First-mover opportunity — be the founding Spa Manager of the first Woodhouse on the North Shore
  • Room to grow — as the flagship location, this role has a clear path to grow alongside the business; as you excel, opportunity follows
Woodhouse Day Spa Highland Park is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
