Opportunity

The primary function of the Spa Attendant is to support the support hospitality service standards and commitment to customer service.ย ย 

FOCUS 1:ย  Support the cleanliness and maintenance of the Kohler Waters Spa facilityย ย 

and equipment.ย 

FOCUS 2:ย  Attend to food and beverage services and spa guest and member needs.ย 

Spa Attendant associates must have excellent working knowledge of all positions, services, products, operations, systems, and procedures within the spa/salon.ย  He/she must also possess knowledge of the Kohler resort and surrounding Village of Kohler.   • ย  ย  ย Attend to women's or men's (same gender as associate) Respite Room toย maintainย order,ย cleanlinessย and amenities; replenish clean towel supply throughout the facility.
  • Perform rounds of the facility to ensure neatness and order.
  • Attend to the Reception Desk located in the lower level to accommodate client check-in for sandals, robes and lockers.ย ย 
  • Understand basic RIO system operations for "view-only" purposes, thereby providing communication of service times and availability of services to guests.ย ย 
  • Gather used linens from treatment rooms and assemble for pick-up by The American Club laundry staff; distribute clean linens toย designatedย storage areas and/or treatment rooms.
  • Assistย spa technicians with cleaning of baths between client treatments.
  • Support the maintenance staff with daily readings/testing of water in the Spa Relaxation Pool.ย ย Maintain neatness and order around the Spa Relaxation Pool lounge area.
  • Advise Spaย Hostessย on food and beverage replenishment during the day.
  • Assist Group Coordinator with setup tasks involvingย special groupย requirements.ย ย For example, setup of signage and message boards, etc.
  • Know and understand The American Club resort property and its businesses to provide information for guests.
  • Consistentlyย maintainย cleanliness of desk, reception area, retail centers, and if needed, flooring.
  • Keep spa technicians informed - do not assume ANYTHING!
  • Inform Supervisor ifย additionalย staffย isย needed.
  • Responsible for knowing and performing proper opening/closing procedures as related to this position (see opening and closing checklist of responsibilities).
  • Provide food and beverage support and delivery of lunches, as needed.
  • Maintainย a high levelย of customer service for all spa guests.
  • Greet peopleย immediatelyย upon arrival.
  • Know what services, and amount of time for each service, each tech performs.
  • Well groomed.
  • Be courteous,ย professionalย and friendly.
  • Know the proper procedures for emergency situations.
  • Complete an on-site certified CPR training courseย facilitatedย by Sports Core Fitness Trainers.
