The Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29-story hotel, located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, and connected directly to the Broward County Convention. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel has over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views.
JOB PURPOSE: The Spa Concierge will work as a part of the Spa team to consistently provide the highest possible standard of guest service, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • As part of the MOKARA Spa team, the Spa Concierge is to consistently provide the highest possible standard of guest service, creating a sensory journey for guests helping them to rest, relax and regain a sense of balance and harmony in their lives.
  • Responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments, greeting guests, providing locker set up of robes and slippers, beverages and checking in and checking out of guests.
  • Ensure pre-selling, up-selling and cross-selling of services and retail products to each guest.
  • Relay with confidence both product and service benefits to guests and assist with closing of retail sales.

Provide tours of the spa and offer/serve beverages as needed.Communicate spa promotions with guests.Maintain cleanliness and neatness of spa facility, locker room and fitness center.Responsible for escorting guests to the locker room, relaxation area and enlightening them on their services.Perform daily general cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in the spa facility.Responsible for opening and/or closing of the hammam, sauna, steam room and whirlpool areas, and their daily sanitation.Ability to ensure cash handling procedures are always adhered to.Ensure all guest challenges are resolved in a timely manner and management is made aware of situation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 1-year experience working in a customer service-based position.
  • Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language required, must be able to communicate with guests and staff professionally and with empathy.
  • Commitment to exceeding the expectations of customers, always operating with a strong attention to detail to the client's needs.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Must obtain a State of Florida TIPS Alcoholic Beverage Server Permit.

ENVIRONMENT & POSITION ANALYSIS:
  • Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, walk or sit for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
  • Requires repetitive motion, including utilizing telephone/computer for an extended period or for an entire shift.
