Facility Description
Sovah Health Danville, formerly Danville Regional Medical Center (DRMC), has served the Dan River community for more than 120 years. A 250-bed academic community hospital and LifePoint facility, Sovah Health Danville is the most comprehensive source of healthcare in the Dan River Region of Virginia and North Carolina. Sovah Health Danville provides services in more than 25 medical specialties in addition to offering the largest surgical capacity in the area. The facility is also home to residents, medical students and other healthcare students from the many nearby universities so teaching opportunities may be available for those with academic interests.
