The Southwest Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. In this remote position, you will work closely with colleagues and clients through various digital platforms, maintaining collaborative and effective communication. Although the primary setting is virtual, you may occasionally engage directly with clients in the community or in-person settings to evaluate needs and provide support. Your work schedule will typically be from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening or weekend hours as required to accommodate client availability and needs.

• Provide direct clinical social work services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for clients coping with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
• Collaborate effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team to achieve common goals, enhancing the delivery of care and support services.
• Respectfully engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, understanding and responding to their unique beliefs, traditions, and emotional needs.
• Navigate and function competently within the organizational structures of the hospice setting and any external systems affected by the service delivery.
• Uphold ethical standards and adhere to the code of conduct established by the Southwest Behavioral Health Center, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Commit to continuous improvement by participating in professional development opportunities, enhancing both personal skills and team performance.

As an LCSW at our hospice center, you will work primarily with clients in end-of-life care who face not only physical but also profound emotional challenges. This role requires a blend of compassion, expertise in mental health support, and a deep understanding of grief and loss. You will be critical in helping clients and their families navigate complex emotions, fostering an environment of choice and empowerment.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work is required; a Master's degree is highly preferred.
• Must possess a valid LCSW license.
• Expert knowledge of mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a clinical social worker in a healthcare or mental health setting is preferred.
• Experience working within hospice care or palliative settings is a valuable asset.

• Annual salary ranges from $85,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
