Office: U.S. SOUTHERN COMMAND J2 Required clearance: No Required education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in financial management. Description: Develop and refine business process models, optimizing workflows for program execution and interagency coordination. Identify areas for process automation, efficiency improvements, and performance tracking, ensuring alignment with DoD best practices. Submit a quarterly Business Process Optimization & Automation Report, detailing process improvements, automation strategies, and workflow enhancements. Required Experience: Possess the knowledge and capability to track program financials, manage budgets, and align funding streams with DoD financial planning processes. Must be proficient in the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process, financial forecasting, and cost estimation. Strong analytical and reporting skills are required to support funding justifications and expenditure tracking. Must have demonstrated experience in DoD budget execution, cost estimation, and financial reporting. Experience with defense financial management systems, congressional budget justifications, and funding reconciliation is required. Desired Qualifications: Desirable but not required certifications include Lean Six Certification, PMP Certification, KM Certification, Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM), CPA, or DAWIA Level II in Financial Management.
