Position: Project Manager

Location: SOUTHCOM HQ, Doral, FL / On-site
Office: U.S. SOUTHERN COMMAND J2
Required clearance: TS/SCI
Required education: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in managing DoD projects. Must be PMP certified.
Description:
  • Manage individual Work Orders, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and performance benchmarks are met within approved schedules and budgets.
  • Track and report on programmatic risks, developing mitigation strategies for potential disruptions in execution.
  • Submit a quarterly Work Order Performance and Risk Management Report, detailing project progress, risk assessments, and mitigation actions.
Required Experience:
  • Must be PMP certified.
  • Possess the knowledge and capability to manage specific Work Order execution, track schedules, and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  • Must be proficient in Agile project management, resource planning, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Must have strong analytical and leadership skills are required to drive deliverables within cost, schedule, and performance constraints.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in managing project lifecycles, tracking milestones, and ensuring alignment with DoD acquisition policies.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, contract compliance, and performance reporting is required.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Lean Six, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or DAWIA Level II in Program Management.
