Senior Account Executive

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the sales and development of the Southern Glazerโ€™s Beverage Company portfolio of products in On Premise regional groups that do business in Massachusetts.
Daily/Position Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
  • Call on decision makers for regional groups โ€“ including relationship building and new product and programming presentations for all categories of beverage: spirits/mixology, wine, beer, sake and non-alcoholic.
  • Coordinate Southern resources including division sales consultants, sales managers, trade development managers, specialists, managers and warehouse. Communicate all relevant information to everyone who touches the accounts. Return phone calls and email inquiries quickly.
  • Coordinate Supplier relationships with the group including relationship building, programming and placement/volume support. Return supplier phone calls and email inquiries quickly.
  • Coordinate SGBC support including the graphics department and digital marketing. Coordinate SGBC resources for staff training and education on service and product.
  • Attend Stealth and Signature Sales meetings as needed.
  • Must be available to work occasional nights and weekends.
Preferred Skills/Education/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Five years of industry-related sales experience within the distribution, hospitality or supplier community
  • Overall strong product knowledge with spirits and wines, WSET or similar certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of mixology, wine, sake and beer.
  • The ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner.
  • Outstanding organizational skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize and act decisively.
  • Ability to calculate and present beverage costs and write a comprehensive beverage program.
  • Ability to develop and provide all necessary written reports, business correspondence and presentations to satisfy job requirements.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers and supplier
Compensation:
Southern Glazerโ€™s offers a competitive compensation package with expected annual total earnings between $113,000 - $150,000/year including incentives. This salary range is an average range for this position. In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.
