Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: $28-$36/ per hour- Lead and $32-$44/ per hour - Foreman

Position Summary
The Sheet Metal Foreman / Lead Mechanic is responsible for the installation, fabrication, and repair of sheet metal systems in commercial and institutional buildings. This role includes hands-on work, leadership, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
Qualifications & Responsibilities
Lead Mechanic (7+ Years Experience Required)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in the sheet metal/HVAC field
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and P&ID schematics
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Provide hands-on leadership to field crews
  • Oversee projects from layout through final installation and testing
  • Supervise mechanics and apprentices installing commercial HVAC sheet metal systems
  • Ensure work is completed on schedule and according to specifications
Foreman (10+ Years Experience Required)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the sheet metal/HVAC field
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and P&ID schematics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
  • Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal systems for commercial HVAC applications
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors on-site
  • Ensure project quality and customer satisfaction at every stage
  • Build strong relationships with crews, clients, and vendors
  • Supervise apprentices, mechanics, lead mechanics, and journeymen
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • Must own basic hand tools required for the trade
  • Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must pass a post-offer drug screen and required background checks (DMV, criminal history, etc.)
