CITY HOME is modernizing its core technology platform and building a data-driven enterprise. We are looking for a Director, Data & Analytics to lead our data engineering, analytics, and applied AI practices.

This role will transform our AWS data platform into a scalable, trusted foundation for executive dashboards, self-service analytics, embedded analytics in operational tools, real-time operational data, and responsible AI-enabled capabilities.

You will report to the SVP of Engineering and partner closely with Engineering, Product, Enterprise Architecture, Store Operations, Supply Chain, and Business leaders.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and scale Data Engineering, Analytics, and Applied AI teams.
  • Own and evolve our AWS data platform, including data lake, pipelines, modeling, access patterns, platform reliability, and event-driven data flows.
  • Build real-time and operational data capabilities that support OMS modernization, store operations, delivery logistics, customer experience, and executive decision-making.
  • Establish data governance, data quality, stewardship, metadata, lineage, privacy, consent, and PII handling practices.
  • Define and deliver data products aligned to business capabilities, KPIs, and operational workflows.
  • Enable self-service analytics, executive reporting, and embedded analytics in business tools.
  • Own AI governance and responsible AI practices, including model risk, data privacy in AI contexts, and production AI use-case oversight.
  • Partner with Engineering and Architecture teams to integrate data into core systems, including ERP, OMS, Supply Chain, and customer platforms.
What We’re Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, data architecture, or data platform roles.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing data teams and driving enterprise data initiatives.
  • Proven experience building or modernizing cloud data platforms, AWS preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, pipelines, analytics architecture, data governance, privacy, and operational data patterns.
  • Experience enabling AI, ML, or advanced analytics use cases in production environments with responsible AI practices.
  • Experience in multi-channel retail, omnichannel, supply chain, logistics, or similarly complex operational environments.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels with strong communication and stakeholder leadership skills.

  • Valid Florida Driver License
Nice to Have
  • Experience with retail data challenges such as long purchase cycles, high average order value, delivery and installation logistics, and attribution across digital and physical channels.
  • Experience modernizing legacy systems into cloud-based architectures.
  • Familiarity with data catalog, lineage, metadata, quality, consent-management, and privacy tools.
  • Experience with BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • AWS, CDMP, DAMA, privacy, or AI governance certifications.
What Success Looks Like
  • A scalable, reliable, and widely adopted AWS data platform.
  • Trusted data enabling consistent executive, operational, customer, and portfolio decisions.
  • Real-time and operational data capabilities that improve visibility across OMS, stores, delivery, and supply chain workflows.
  • Data products aligned to business capabilities, KPIs, and operating processes.
  • Analytics and AI capabilities delivering measurable business impact with clear governance and risk controls.
  • Strong stewardship improving data quality, privacy, and trust across the enterprise.
Why Join Us
  • Lead data strategy during a major enterprise modernization.
  • Build and scale a modern AWS-based data platform.
  • Work directly with executive leadership.
  • Shape how data, analytics, and responsible AI drive decisions across a growing omnichannel retailer.
