We are seeking a Culinary Professional who possesses strong culinary and managerial skills within a luxury high-volume resort or high-end restaurantenvironment. Must be creative, detail-oriented and have a strong passion for culinary arts. Prior experience as ana la carte Chef in a high volume, high quality environment preferred. Must have strong leadership, communication and organizational skills, and culinary degree preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Prepares or directly supervises the daily preparation of all food items.

  • Responsible for the food production in all outlets of the club.

  • Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, eye appeal and flavor of foods.

  • Creates menu specification with the Executive Chef.

  • Tastes all food items prepared prior to serving.

  • Creates “Specials”.

  • Creates new items for buffet and a la carte.

  • Plans weekly production lists.

  • Ensures all employees are following their schedules.

  • Communicates with the Chef on any club member feedback.

  • Ensures that all cooks are trained and understand our standards when working any type of station.

  • Ensures all food products received are of the highest quality.

  • Ensures that all employees follow checklists for their areas.

  • Ensures that all employees are following the highest sanitation standards.

  • Ensure that the receiving department is accepting only the highest quality


REQUIREMENTS

  • Culinary Degree preferred

  • Prior experience as a la carte Chef, required

  • Strong kitchen management and Front of House experience

  • Experience in a high volume, high quality hotel or high-end restaurant environment

  • Excellent communication skills
