Catalyst Brands is seeking a high-performing IT Sourcing Manager - SaaS & Software to lead strategic sourcing and contract negotiations across our corporate enterprise technology ecosystem. In this key role, you will partner closely with cross-functional Tech, Ops, and Finance leadership to manage and optimize our high-growth enterprise software portfolio, SaaS investments, and technology contingent labor. Supporting some of the most iconic names in retail under our holding company umbrella, you will play a critical role in driving scalable technology solutions, negotiating high-impact commercial agreements, and delivering measurable bottom-line value to the enterprise.
Responsibilities
Saas & Software:
  • Lead Sourcing Initiatives: Plan and execute strategic sourcing strategies for SaaS platforms and enterprise software, managing the entire lifecycle from vendor selection and competitive bidding (RFxs) to final contract execution.
  • Team Guidance: Support and mentor an associate/analyst handling software and SaaS sourcing activities, including new purchases, renewals, and enterprise expansions.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Negotiate highly favorable commercial and legal terms, specifically focusing on subscription pricing, licensing models, renewal protections, usage tiers, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Financial Stewardship: Partner with Technology and Finance stakeholders to manage technology spend, including budgeting, forecasting, and renewal planning.
  • Portfolio Optimization: Drive active license and subscription optimization, identifying opportunities to reduce costs, eliminate redundancies, and improve software utilization.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain detailed Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and build compelling business cases to support investment decisions.
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Implement supplier management practices to maximize vendor value, track performance, and support the adoption of key platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Align with stakeholders across Security, Legal, Finance, and Tech on selection, scalability, integration needs, funding approvals, and contract execution.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends, licensing changes, and pricing benchmarks to inform negotiation strategies.

Contingent Labor Support:
  • Workforce Sourcing: Support the sourcing and management of technology contingent labor (staff augmentation and consulting) in partnership with Technology and HR.
  • Contract and Rate Management: Negotiate rate cards, bill rates, and Statements of Work (SOW) to ensure competitive pricing and alignment with enterprise business needs.
  • Demand Planning: Assist with labor demand planning, supplier selection, and performance tracking for external technology resources.
  • Executive Presentation: Present sourcing strategies, financial analyses, and outcomes to leadership to support decision-making.

Qualifications
Required:
  • 5+ years of experience in technology procurement or strategic sourcing, with a dedicated focus on SaaS and/or enterprise software agreements.
  • Negotiation Expertise: Proven experience negotiating software licensing and SaaS subscription agreements with Tier-1 and mid-market vendors.
  • Contingent Labor Exposure: Exposure to contingent labor sourcing, staffing agreements, or SOW-based engagements.
  • Financial Modeling: Experience developing TCO models and performing advanced spend data analysis.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across Technology, Finance, and Business teams.
  • Attributes: Analytical, detail-oriented, results-driven, and a strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
  • Tools: Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.

Preferred:
  • Certification: CPM or CPSM certification is a plus.
  • Tools: Understanding of Oracle ERP applications is a plus.
  • Experience supporting SaaS portfolio management or Software Asset Management (SAM).
  • Familiarity with contingent workforce programs (MSP/VMS), IT staffing suppliers, and rate card negotiations.
  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, multi-brand, or digital corporate environments.
