Pay Transparency: The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $35,000-43,000/yr. ESPN 1320 in Sacramento, is looking for a full-time producer in the afternoons. Producers are responsible for running the control board, helping to generate topics on a daily basis, assist with guest ideas, and edit sound and before and after the show. Knowledge of all social media platforms for our on site coverage of events and press conferences is included in these responsibilities. We are looking for a self-starter, who takes control in the studio, can work well with others and take direction.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Run the control board.
  • Follow station format.
  • Arrange and play commercials and IDs according to program and commercial logs.
  • Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
  • Maintain digital show accounts on all platforms
  • Ideate show hosts with topic development and provide necessary means in which to advance topics
  • Screen calls during show in a professional manner
  • Audio and sound production
  • Podcasting
  • Work closely with over the air staff, commercial production and digital staff
  • Produce video content for YouTube and other social media channels
Qualifications

Required & Preferred:

  • Working knowledge of digital audio recording and editing equipment preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Sacramento/Northern California sports preferred.
