Job Summary/Description: 

WKYT, home to Lexington's highest-rated newscasts, is looking for a Full-Time Videographer/Editor.

We are looking for someone who is a driven storyteller and knows photography is more than wide, medium, and tight shots. When it comes to a microphone, you use it as a tool for gathering sound and taking people to a place in time rather than just an object for sound bites.

As a News Editor, we’re looking for someone who can take a script and make it sing with natural sound, tremendous visuals you’ve gathered in the field, or pulled from our visual journalists.

We've got all the tools you will need to succeed. From next generation cameras and laptop editors to a staff of talented Photographers, MMJ’s, reporters, and Producers that all share a desire to tell great stories and be the best.

Please note - the primary job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the duties listed above 

Qualifications/Requirements:

Job Duties include creative shooting and editing, being a self-starter, not being afraid to ask questions, having a can-do attitude, and being deadline-driven.
