Quanex is looking for Material Handler-3rd shift to join our team located in Thomasville, NC.
The Material Handler is responsible for sorting parts, performing quality inspections on molded parts and separating and sorting scrap material. This position is Sunday-Wednesday 10:00 pm - 8:00 am.

What Success Looks Like:
  • Follow all safety procedures, rules and guidelines.
  • Review production board for scheduled work and confirm production runs.

  • Responsible for sorting parts for up to 12 machines per shift.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring they are properly organized and easily accessible.
  • Keeps the sorting area neat, clean and orderly.

Your Credentials:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Capability to stand for extended periods of time.

The hourly wage for this position is $16.00/hr which includes an additional $1.00/hr shift premium for eligible hours worked.
