SORTER ASSOCIATE

Position overview:
The Sorter Associate will operate computerized vision equipment to inspect and package product for
shipment including labeling and palletizing.
Main responsibilities:
The Sorter Associate focuses on running equipment and on packaging parts for inventory/shipment.
• Adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
• Adherence to all quality policies and procedures.
• Operation of equipment.
o Clean up of equipment between jobs
o Performing preventative maintenance requirements
o Assisting with set-up of equipment
o Operation of equipment at targeted rate
o Validating proper operation of equipment
o Loading of unsorted product
o Scraping of non-conforming parts
o Packaging of conforming parts
• Inspection of product being sorted
• Boxing, labelling, and palletizing parts.
• Maintenance of production records
• Maintenance of lot control.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience preferred.
