Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process.Our integrated solutions allow us to be prepared for supply chain risks, so we can plan distribution to better achieve lead time and goals despite unexpected conditions. Has responsibility for general maintenance, repair, and service of equipment within the facility.

Serves as liaison between management and contracted services that perform extensive electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic repairs or upgrades to material handling and sortation equipment.

Responds to all critical and emergency issues within the facility and has responsibility for prioritizing multiple demands.

Determines need for maintenance and repair, schedules work needed and budget cost as directed by department manager.

Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency maintenance on material handling equipment and sortation equipment including slide shoe sorter, roller and belt conveyors, print/apply machines, label printers, air compressor, and carton erector.

Examines mechanical and electrical equipment to diagnose, troubleshoot, and performs repairs as necessary.

Escalates complex issues to department manager for review and/or approval as appropriate.

Maintains onsite parts inventory. Monitors and reviews the progress and completeness of contracted work. Reports any potential service failures to department and facility manager.
