Job description

Sony Pictures Television Studios (SPTS) is one of the industry's leading content providers, producing programming worldwide across genres and platforms. As the largest independent TV studio in the industry, SPTS produces 50+ shows each year including THE BOYS, PLURIBUS, SPIDER-NOIR, OUTLANDER, and PLATONIC. SPTS is part of the larger Sony Pictures Television (SPT) division. SPT is a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company, a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Sony Group Corporation.
The Manager, Branded Solutions will play a key role in developing, selling, and executing strategic brand partnerships and integrations across Sony Pictures Television Studios' portfolio. Reporting to the SVP, Branded Solutions, this individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating client and agency relationships, developing compelling partnership solutions, and leading cross-functional execution to deliver revenue-generating programs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with experience in branded content, media partnerships, and integrated marketing who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development & Business Growth
  • Identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with brands, agencies, and marketing partners to drive new revenue opportunities across SPT content and platforms
  • Proactively source and evaluate partnership opportunities aligned with studio priorities, programming, and business objectives
  • Monitor industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to inform partnership strategy and uncover new areas for growth
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute annual partnership and revenue-generation strategies

Sales Strategy & Pitch Development
  • Lead the development of customized partnership proposals, integrated marketing programs, and branded content opportunities for prospective partners
  • Create compelling sales materials, pitch decks, and presentations that articulate the value of SPT properties and audience reach
  • Work closely with research, insights, and analytics teams to incorporate audience data, marketplace trends, and performance metrics into sales narratives
  • Support deal negotiations and help structure partnership opportunities that maximize value for both clients and SPT

Partnership Execution & Project Leadership
  • Manage branded partnership initiatives from ideation through execution, ensuring programs are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client objectives
  • Serve as the primary liaison among internal stakeholders including creative, production, business affairs, legal, finance, marketing, and distribution teams
  • Oversee project timelines, deliverables, approvals, and integration requirements to ensure seamless execution and partner satisfaction
  • Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining alignment across internal and external teams

Client & Partner Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brand partners, agencies, and key stakeholders to drive repeat business and long-term collaboration
  • Lead client communications, status meetings, presentations, and post-campaign reviews
  • Track and report partnership performance, providing insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ensure a high level of client service and responsiveness throughout the partnership lifecycle

Strategic Planning & Operations
  • Manage partnership pipeline reporting, forecasting, and revenue tracking
  • Maintain visibility into deal flow, market opportunities, and partnership performance metrics
  • Develop and refine internal processes, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and scalability of branded solutions efforts
  • Support departmental planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives as needed

Requirements
  • 5-7+ years of experience in brand partnerships, branded content, sponsorships, media sales, integrated marketing, advertising, entertainment partnerships, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience developing and executing brand partnerships, sponsorships, or integrated marketing programs
  • Strong understanding of the entertainment, streaming, digital media, and advertising ecosystem
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with external clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and business development capabilities
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint/Keynote, Excel, and CRM or pipeline management tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for branded entertainment

The anticipated base salary for this position is $90K to $120K. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
