ActionLink is seeking a dynamic Full-Time Area Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of Sony Technology Sales Advisors. In this influential leadership role, you'll champion sales excellence, coach top talent, strengthen retail partnerships, and help bring Sony's cutting-edge innovations to life for customers throughout your territory.
Schedule and What We Offer
  • Full Time; 9am-5pm - 40 hours per week with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off
  • $55,000 - $60,000 annual salary range plus quarterly bonus potential
  • Diverse mixture of remote work and field travel

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute strategies to achieve sales program KPI targets, maximize revenue, and enhance market share
  • Build relationships with a geographically dispersed team while driving accountability and performance
  • Function as a single point of contact for the Sony team within the assigned region
  • Conduct final interviews with recruited candidates to make staffing decisions
  • Manage training completion, coaching efforts, and other development interventions of assigned field representatives
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships and communication channels with Regional Sony Supervisors, Store Managers, and ActionLink Leadership
Qualifications
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold a geographically dispersed team accountable for performance and results
  • Experience managing remote employees while building strong relationships, trust, and team engagement
  • Skilled in recruiting, onboarding, developing, and retaining top talent
  • Strong coaching and performance management abilities with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to analyze reports, KPIs, and sales metrics to identify opportunities and drive action
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and follow-through skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on leadership style with a commitment to staying connected and engaged with team members
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability
  • Experience in consumer electronics, retail sales, or field leadership is preferred but not required
  • Passion for developing people, delivering results, and creating a positive team culture
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business reporting tools preferred
  • Able to travel 50% of the time (locally and/or by plane as needed) to conduct in-store field visits throughout assigned region
  • Home office space with reliable high-speed internet connectivity and a phone
