Job Description

Assist dentists chairside during procedures
Prepare and break down treatment rooms between patients
Perform dental X-rays and ensure proper documentation
Support front office tasks, including appointment scheduling and patient check-in/out
Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas
Utilize Dentrix software proficiently for scheduling and record-keeping
Communicate effectively with patients to provide reassurance and instructions

Salary Range

Part-time $25 - $30 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements
  • Dentrix

Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred
X-ray certification preferred
Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental management software
Strong chairside assisting skills and familiarity with dental procedures
Friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills
Ability to multitask and manage both clinical and front desk duties

Preferences

Previous front desk experience in a dental office
Ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
