Great Waters Federal is seeking an SME Technology Solutions Manager for the National Capital Region or remote work. The successful candidate will serve as the principal technical authority and liaison between business requirements and IT resources, ensuring that intricate hardware, software, and system solutions are expertly designed, deployed, and administered to address business challenges effectively.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Develop project work plans, manage technical resources, and direct execution to deliver on scope, quality, and performance standards.
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams in establishing, communicating, and updating standards, data and AI governance, and enterprise-wide policies.
  • Lead the creation and communication of data policies related to areas such as master data, data tagging and labelling, metadata, and data security.
  • Coordinate teams and update tactics to achieve project objectives.
  • Analyze complex systems and design solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation.
  • Ensure technology investments are strategically aligned with organizational objectives and effectively manage the technology portfolio.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for stakeholders, ensuring adoption through training and process documentation.
  • Establish and monitor program priorities, objectives, procedures, and resource needs allocation.
  • Communicate with departmental leadership to ensure shared understanding of work plans, status, IT standards, change management, and other applicable processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology related field plus fifteen (15) years of professional IT experience.
  • Must be able to successfully complete, pass, and maintain a public trust investigation.
  • High proficiency in the comprehension and application of industry standard and best practice data governance and data management theories, principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Possess technical backend expertise in utilizing data quality tools.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing the scope, risk, schedule and risk and provide structure, planning, scope management, create project plans that adhere to client's system development standards for plan preparation and accomplishing the tasks of this assignment.
  • Experience with developing written, guidance, SOPs, reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Excellent written/verbal skills, translating technical info, stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
