Job description

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is currently seeking a CADD Technician to support our survey division. The ideal candidate will need to have experience preparing survey drawings for municipal, transportation (DOT) and ALTA surveys. We are looking for someone with great communication skills who enjoys being part of a team in a dynamic environment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Working within MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D following client driven CADD standards (NCS, DOT's, UPRR, USACOE, etc.)
  • Adhering to specific quality control procedures
  • Complete work according to standard surveying principles and practices and compliance with company standards and quality system procedures
  • Create and document easement exhibits, legal descriptions, deed interpretation, layouts, submittals, instructions, and complete survey drawings
  • Perform survey calculations and reports.
  • Coordinating with design engineers to develop ROW and ownership plans for various entities.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center (TBC), Microsoft office, and other computer applications and design software is a plus.
  • Capable of completing projects with help from surveying technicians, survey field crews, survey project managers and Professional Land Surveyors.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 7 Years of experience
  • MicroStation or AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency required
