What types of projects or clients do solutions architects typically work with in a part-time capacity?

Part-time Solutions Architects often engage with a variety of clients, including startups, small to mid-sized businesses, or enterprise teams needing specialized expertise for specific phases of a project. Typical projects may involve cloud migration, software system upgrades, designing new application frameworks, or optimizing existing IT infrastructures. You might join agile teams for limited sprints, act as a subject matter expert during architectural planning, or provide ongoing support for troubleshooting complex technical issues. This arrangement allows you to bring high-level impact on a flexible schedule, while gaining exposure to diverse industries and technical environments.

These abilities ensure that solutions not only meet business needs but are also successfully implemented within tight timelines and part-time constraints.

Is a solutions architect a high paying job?

Solutions architects typically earn above-average salaries due to their specialized skills in designing technical solutions and their experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Compensation varies by industry, location, and experience, but it is generally considered a well-paying role within the IT field.
