Job description

Position: Technical Project Manager
Location: Basking Ridge, New Jersey (Hybrid Mode, 2-3 days in the office)
Description:
This is a tech lead position supporting the Enterprise Decommission and Data Optimization program within the Enterprise Technology, Infrastructure & Platform Services (ETIPS) Organization. In this role you will partner with business and cross-functional matrixed software engineering leads to engage with our client's application teams to drive out archival and decommission requirements and help deliver technology solutions in accordance with our 5-year decommission roadmap.
Responsibilities:
- Review & analyze business requirements, work with business sponsor and project team members to manage and deliver on the project's stated objectives, providing leadership with a focus on outcomes.
- Work closely with domain and dev architecture groups to design solutions that enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software and should be able to clearly articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions, issues and plans to technology leadership
- Analyze and interpret data to design innovative solutions to support business and integration partners in accordance with ERIM and Legal data retention guidelines
- Drive delivery and report status on data integration solutions-projects to support our client's domains for large complex legacy claims adjudication platforms which have been targeted for archival and decommission
- Plan and test software enhancements / updates, troubleshoot and help remediate defects where necessary.
Skills, Must have:
- 5+ years' experience in Software Development / Engineering
- 5+ years' experience in data transformation and integration supporting large platform implementations
- 5+ years' experience managing the entire product life cycle from ideation to post-production with focus on driving out business requirements and translating them into technical design to support delivery.
- Solid analytic skills and data integration experience working with structured and unstructured datasets
- Experience with process tools (Rally/Jira), familiar with SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile delivery methodologies
- Proficient with MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Solid project management and organizational skills
- PMP Certification through PMI
- Experience with Java, Spring Frameworks, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL DB technologies (MySQL, MS SQL, Hadoop, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience with big data indexing / search technologies such as Apache SOLR and Elasticsearch
- Healthcare and/or large claim processing and adjudication experience
- Experience presenting technical status to stakeholders and/or Senior Leadership
