About ADG Blatt
ADG Blatt is an employee-focused architecture, planning, interiors, landscape architecture, engineering, and program management firm committed to providing enduring, creative solutions that respond to each client's unique needs, budget, and schedule. With decades of experience, we understand that successful projects are built through effective communication, strong leadership, sound management, and creative thought.
We believe our greatest strength is our people and are committed to fostering a collaborative, innovative, and respectful workplace where individuals are encouraged to grow professionally and make meaningful contributions to our clients and communities. Our Core Values-Trust, Collaboration, Creativity, Learning, Accountability, and Kindness-guide how we work together, lead, and serve others.
Position Overview
ADG Blatt is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Program Management team. This senior-level position is intended for an engineer or experienced AEC professional with demonstrated success leading complex projects, managing client and stakeholder relationships, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and guiding projects from planning and due diligence through design, construction, and closeout.
The Senior Project Manager serves as a trusted advisor to clients, bringing clarity and leadership to project scope, schedule, budget, risk, decision-making, and execution. This individual will lead projects assigned by the Director of Program Management and collaborate closely with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, end users, and other project stakeholders.
In addition to project leadership, the ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge of engineering, construction, or the broader AEC industry and serve as a subject-matter resource for project and technical reviews. An engineering background and professional licensure are valued but are not required for an experienced AEC professional who demonstrates the technical judgment and project leadership necessary for the position.
Leadership Expectations
- Demonstrate ADG Blatt's Core Values in every interaction.
- Lead projects and teams with clarity, accountability, collaboration, and respect.
- Build trusted relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Communicate proactively and translate complex project and technical information into clear recommendations.
- Anticipate challenges, identify risks early, and lead teams toward practical solutions.
- Mentor and support developing professionals through coaching, knowledge sharing, and meaningful project responsibilities.
- Promote continuous improvement in project delivery, technical review, processes, and client service.
- Lead with integrity, professionalism, sound judgment, and a service-oriented mindset.
Essential Functions
Senior Project Management
- Serve as Senior Project Manager for projects assigned by the Director of Program Management.
- Lead projects from planning and due diligence through design, construction, and closeout.
- Develop and maintain project execution plans, scope, schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Establish clear roles, responsibilities, communication protocols, and decision-making processes.
- Coordinate owners, design professionals, consultants, contractors, end users, and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, budget, scope, quality, and coordination concerns.
- Lead due diligence efforts and coordinate information required from clients, project partners, and end users.
- Facilitate project meetings and maintain accountability for decisions, action items, responsibilities, and deadlines.
- Identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts to cost, schedule, quality, and project objectives.
- Coordinate preparation of project agreements and consultant scopes as appropriate.
Client & Stakeholder Leadership
- Serve as a primary client contact and trusted advisor for assigned projects.
- Develop a thorough understanding of client goals, priorities, operational needs, and project constraints.
- Help clients evaluate alternatives and make informed decisions.
- Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and required decisions clearly and proactively.
- Facilitate communication and alignment among diverse stakeholder groups.
- Lead difficult conversations professionally and constructively when necessary.
- Build and maintain relationships that support client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Technical & Project Review
- Serve as a technical and subject-matter resource to the Program Management team based on individual education, experience, and professional expertise.
- Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of design documents, plans, specifications, cost information, and other project deliverables.
- Evaluate projects for coordination, constructability, operational considerations, project requirements, and potential risk.
- Assist project teams and clients in evaluating technical information and recommendations provided by architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Identify potential gaps, conflicts, or concerns and facilitate resolution with the appropriate design or construction professional.
- Apply knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, building systems, and industry practices appropriate to the individual's area of expertise.
- Contribute lessons learned and technical knowledge to strengthen project review practices and the capabilities of the Program Management team.
Scope, Schedule & Financial Management
- Manage project scope and monitor alignment with established project objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules and key milestones.
- Monitor project budgets, cost estimates, forecasts, and financial performance.
- Evaluate proposed changes and communicate potential scope, cost, and schedule impacts.
- Coordinate with design teams and cost professionals to maintain alignment among scope, budget, and schedule.
- Maintain clear documentation of project decisions, changes, and approvals.
- Identify deviations early and lead development of appropriate corrective strategies.
Team Leadership & Development
- Provide project leadership and direction to Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Construction Administrators, and other team members assigned to projects.
- Establish clear project responsibilities and expectations.
- Mentor developing professionals and share project management and technical knowledge.
- Create opportunities for team members to participate in problem-solving and decision-making appropriate to their experience.
- Foster a collaborative learning environment that supports professional growth and accountability.
- Coordinate project staffing and resource needs with the Director of Program Management.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Collaborate with the Director of Program Management and other firm leaders to improve project workflows, quality, and delivery.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen Program Management standards, tools, technical reviews, and best practices.
- Coordinate effectively with ADG Blatt's architecture, interiors, engineering, and construction professionals.
- Stay informed of relevant industry developments, technologies, codes, and project delivery practices.
- Share lessons learned and knowledge across projects and teams.
Business Development & Community Engagement
- Support marketing and business development efforts, including proposals, interviews, and pursuit strategy as appropriate.
- Help identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients and develop new relationships.
- Represent ADG Blatt professionally at client meetings, industry events, and community activities.

- Strong client relationship, facilitation, and consensus-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to exercise sound independent judgment within established policies and project parameters.

- Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible AEC industry experience, including demonstrated senior-level project or program management experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex projects through planning, design, and construction.
