Job description

  • Manage municipal and industrial water treatment projects from request for quote (RFQ) through final closeout, including RFQ package reviews, detailed review and appropriate markup of engineering drawings and specifications, and development and submittal of bid packages, including material, labor and third-party services
  • Develop, maintain, and track project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work, and report progress, risks, and variances to business unit leadership
  • Coordinate equipment procurement, vendor lead times, and submittal approvals to keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Schedule and coordinate service technician resources for project installation, startup, and commissioning
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, engineers, contractors, and the WSS team on assigned projects, communicating progress, changes, and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare, review, and process change orders, documenting scope, cost, and schedule impacts for approval
  • Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, including submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, closeout packages, and warranty records
  • Work with the Inside Sales and Outside Sales teams to ensure a smooth handoff of awarded projects and accurate order entry
  • Occasionally travel to customer sites for project meetings, both municipal and industrial
