Senior Archer GRC Solution Engineer

The Role

At Fidelity, you will have the opportunity to share your technical knowledge to help strengthen our engineering community and further pursue your own learning of new technologies and platforms. We have an outstanding technology opportunity in the Legal, Risk and Compliance product area. You will be a key contributor supporting the Archer Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform with Fidelity's Corporate Services Technology team.

The team is focused on a strategic partnership with our Compliance and Risk business partners, and we value integrity, operational excellence, strong engineering, and technological innovation.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in development, maintenance, testing, and support of Archer 6.x GRC applications, including designing complex On-Demand Applications (ODAs) and advanced workflows.
  • 9 years of experience in Information Security, Information Technology, security controls, and GRC industry best practices.
  • Expert-level understanding of risk management, compliance, and governance principles/ frameworks, with hands-on experience in Archer solutions such as Issue Management, Policy Management, Privacy Controls, Risk Register, and Risk Assessment.
  • Strong command of web technologies including CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and XML, with the ability to develop custom solutions within the Archer platform.
  • Required hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data analysis, automation, reporting, integration, and support of Archer and related GRC processes.
  • Experience creating calculated fields, reports, iViews, advanced workflows, and dashboards for various programs and processes, as well as custom reporting, access controls, record permissions, data-driven events, and notifications.
  • Expertise integrating Archer with other tools and systems through advanced data feeds (JavaScript Transformer) and knowledge and/ or hands-on experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Ability to translate user needs into technical specifications by understanding, conceptualizing, and facilitating technical requirements from stakeholders.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with a growth mindset and the ability to engage effectively in technical and design discussions.
  • Passion for guiding standard methodologies and providing mentoring support to other developers.
  • Experience with Snowflake and Power BI is a plus.
  • GRC or risk certifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISSP, or GRCP are nice to have.
