Who Are We Looking For?

The Program Management team exists to drive tactical efficiency while always keeping the big picture in mind. Members of the Program Management team are the connective tissue between the client-facing front end and the operational backend. We use data to identify the initiatives that will have the largest impacts, and manage our roadmap accordingly. We strive to ensure that Vestwell's operational teams have the tools they need to provide an exceptional experience for partners and clients while working within optimized, repeatable processes that create scalable and predictable timelines. When we're successful, it allows for proper expectation setting for our clients and reliable revenue recognition for the business.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Partner with stakeholders across business units (ex: sales, finance, service, compliance) to analyze and document how new products and opportunities will impact operational processes and the systems involved.
  • Take that analysis and turn it into actionable requirements that can be handed over to the teams tasked with building and/or implementation.
  • Assist in the managing and updating of a long-term solution roadmap, and contributing to prioritization of the initiatives on the roadmap.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and communicate system requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes as updates are made.
  • Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
  • Leverage data and reporting to identify trends, inefficiencies, and prioritization.

  • The ability to dig deep into the details of one product or process while keeping the big picture in mind
  • Continued growth in industry and regulatory knowledge, to support prioritization efforts (balancing efficiency with regulatory requirements)
  • Proficiency with process documentation and workflow mapping
  • Experience in the retirement, financial services or employee benefit industries

This role will be based in either the New York City, Austin, or Scottsdale office, and will be part of Vestwell's hybrid in-office operation.
The expected base salary range for this position is $115K - $125K base. This position is eligible to participate in the Company Bonus Pool and is eligible to receive new hire equity in the Company. Please note that salary bands are based on NY and other similar metro areas and may differ based on where the role is ultimately hired.
