Company Description
Arvato is an innovative and leading global 3PL service provider in supply chain management and e-commerce. With 20,000 team members at over 100 locations, we focus on the Consumer Products, Tech, Healthcare, Automotive and Publisher industries.
You will work in an environment built on collaboration, respect, commitment and curiosity, where you can grow, contribute your ideas, and make an impact. Be part of the team that delivers logistics excellence and shapes supply chains globally. Working at Arvato means: Together, we're on it.
Job Description
The Solution Design team is responsible for designing supply chain solutions for our clients and is a major contributor to the growth of our company. We design custom solutions for new and existing clients. The solution design team works in close cooperation with our clients and colleagues from engineering, operations, account management, transportation and IT to compose and price integrated supply chain setups for our clients. To support Arvato's continued growth across industries like Tech, Consumer Products, Healthcare and Datacenter Infrastructure, we are looking for a strong project manager who can take end to end ownership of clients' Requests for Proposal (RFP). This position is a critical enabler for Arvato's growth. This role provides the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge about world-class supply chain setups in a short time. • You communicate directly with the client and support the business development process.

  • If the client needs a service that does not exist - you design it. You have full autonomy to make things happen. The word "impossible" is not part of your dictionary.
  • You manage a cross-functional team of SMEs from logistics engineering, operations, account management, business development, transportation management and IT. You understand, challenge and improve their solution input.
  • You communicate with internal stakeholders such as site directors, account VPs and controlling. At times you will also work with company presidents and CEO - this is a high visibility role.
  • You support data analytics and make sure we use their insights to design a winning solution.
  • To ensure that your solutions are best in class you work closely with central functions and project teams to learn and understand cutting-edge technologies and methods in the logistics industry.
  • You work closely with Arvato's global solution design teams from various industries and countries to make sure we leverage global best practices and expertise.
  • Full ownership of project cost calculations, price books, client presentations and investment proposals for RFPs.
  • You develop an active internal network, across different countries and functions within Arvato. This will help you deliver successful RFPs
  • You deploy critical thinking and creativity to manage RFP requirements while meeting deadlines, expectations and managing a cross functional team.
  • You have a winning mentality and a growth mindset.
