A Day in the Life of a Travel Mammography Tech:
As a Mammography Technologist, you'll play a vital role in early breast cancer detection. You'll operate state-of-the-art equipment, perform high-quality diagnostic imaging, and ensure a comfortable, reassuring experience for every patient.
You'll be part of a team that truly values your technical skills, your attention to detail, and most importantly - your empathy.
Here is what you'll need:
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and advanced certification in Mammography
  • Current compliance with MQSA and ARRT continuing education and experience requirements
  • Expertise in mammography positioning and exposure techniques
  • Strong communication skills - educate, reassure, and empower patients
  • Preferred: Experience with ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies
  • Preferred: Knowledge of RIS/PACS and database software
  • Active, unrestricted licensure in the state of assignment
