Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Complete Solids Control rig-ups, rig-downs, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
  • Perform Solids Control Analysis of the equipment 
  • Perform electrical rig-ups, rig downs, and minor repairs 
  • Possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit jobs 
  • Follow the proper sampling procedure 
  • Complete daily reports and communicate with customers, supervisors, and co-workers 
  • Possess satisfactory rig etiquette and maintain a professional attitude 
  • Train other employees and travel outside the hiring region when needed 
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record per NOV's Driver Policy
  • Demonstrate a willingness to complete general labor tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor 
  • Attain the necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent is required. 
  • Experience in the solids control field or similar mechanical experience, to be able to identify potential mechanical problems 
  • Possess a satisfactory driving record 
  • Must be able to pass background check, pre-placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test, and substance abuse testing 
  • Must be able to operate or be trained to operate heavy equipment such as a track hoe/back hoe in a safe manner 
  • Must be able to operate or be trained to operate existing solids control line of equipment and or any new solids control technology introduced to the market 

Pay Range $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
