In a Solid Surface position, your typical day will involve measuring and templating job sites, cutting and shaping solid surface materials, and performing precise installations for countertops, vanities, and other surfaces. You’ll also handle tasks like sanding, seaming, and finishing to ensure a seamless and visually appealing result, often collaborating closely with contractors, designers, or clients. Regular use of hand and power tools is common, along with maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Coordination with teammates and excellent customer service are often required, as you may be the primary point of contact for clients during installation projects.
