Job description

Role Description:
Handle the customer support for the Ardagh Metal Packaging locations, external domestic customers, and other external international customers and support the procurement of parts for ATC jobs. The position is responsible for sourcing parts and services, issuing the purchase orders to purchase the parts, and completing all needed documentation to ship the parts. The position is also responsible for tracking customer orders, quoting time, and billing material jobs and installation support against the original quote. In addition, the position is required to follow up with vendors regarding all purchased parts that are past due or critical for timely delivery.
  • Process orders for Ardagh plants, domestic external customers, and international external customers.
  • Source, quote and procure parts from vendors to fill customer orders and shop floor jobs.
  • Process shipping documents to create invoices.
  • Track and follow customer job orders to ensure purchase orders are received.
  • Quote the customer for spare parts per their request.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responding to customer inquires via e-mail or phone.
  • Entering customer orders into the SAP system for tracking and processing.
  • Sourcing and quoting parts and services for the customers and for ATC shop floor jobs.
  • Work with ATC Production Control to coordinate /quote any made to order parts or equipment.
  • Quote to customer ATC jobs done on a time and material basis.
  • Processing the purchase order to order the parts and services from the proper vendors.
  • Generate shipping documentation for shipment of the parts to the customer and create the customer invoice.
  • Generate any export documentation /commercial invoices needed to facilitate the shipments.
  • Gather required part information needed for export of parts to enter into the commercial invoice database.
  • Generate SAP reports as needed.
  • Advise customer of any changes in order status or pricing.
  • Track and report aging of all customer orders.
  • Coordinate any customer project shipments and invoicing working with both the customer on requirements and the project managers to understand shipping needs.
  • Backup to other customer service positions and supply chain.

Requirements:
  • 4-year degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Fluent in Portuguese, a plus.
  • Proficient in the usage of software applications like Excel and Word.
  • Proficient in the usage of SAP
  • Solid verbal and written skills.
  • Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $58,300.00 and $87,500.00 per year. This role is bonus eligible. The bonus incentive program is based on the company meeting or exceeding certain targets. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
