New Homes Crew Lead


Location: SoCal

Reports to: Crew Lead

Travel: Field role



Company: Citadel Roofing and Solar is a growing company that is made up of industry veterans with more than 30 years of experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to new construction home builders throughout Northern and Central California. We are currently looking for a Solar Crew Lead for our growing solar team! Description: Manage crew to perform solar pre-wire installation as well as solar installation which will include ensuring all material received from warehouse is correct material and correct quantities to complete installation. Crew Lead will be responsible for that crew follows Citadel Safety and Installation Standards as well as job site roles.


Responsibilities:

• Provide quality installations that will be able to be commissioned and inspected without issues

• Provide 100% of required photos for each installation daily (no exceptions)

• Maintain truck stock mid/max levels

• Communicate with Citadel Superintendent at a minimum every morning and afternoon

o AM confirm material picked up from warehouse and activity plan for the day

o PM confirm what activities were completed that day as well as update on any field related issues that came up during the day

• Communicate before installation with Citadel Superintendent if installations will not match solar layout exactly for approval to install and supply as-built drawing day of installation if different from solar layout

• Provide weekly timecard and safety documents required for entire crew to be turned into Citadel Superintendent on time and accurate

• Maintain company vehicle maintenance including washing interior and exterior of vehicle weekly Skills:

• Ability to inspect fall gear and other PPE daily/weekly

• Follow and enforce Citadel installation and safety practices

• Organization skills to maintain clean and organized company vehicle and provide warehouse timely notification of need material to maintain truck stock mid/max levels

• Communicate with others inside and outside Citadel organization

• Navigate iPad and use required apps to provide deliverables





Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in residential roof top solar installation

• Knowledge of reading solar layouts and SLDs

• Manage production crew

• Electrical solar experience (Enphase/SolarEdge)

• Knowledge of solar structural requirements

• Knowledge of roofing practices/requirements
