Position Specific Description

The Senior Inventory Services Specialist is responsible for leading advanced inventory control, material management, and warehouse operations activities that support NextEra Energy Resources' renewable energy fleet, including Wind, Solar, and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) sites. This position ensures the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and distribution of materials while maintaining inventory integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness across geographically dispersed field operations.

The role serves as a key resource within the Supply Chain organization by driving inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse performance, supporting maintenance activities, and ensuring critical spare parts and materials are available to meet operational demands. The Senior Inventory Services Specialist applies extensive knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory control processes, logistics coordination, and continuous improvement methodologies to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.

Job Overview

This position performs inventory services functions and implements policies and programs directed towards providing inventory services.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

   Directs and coordinates all necessary technical tasks, scope, and governmental and regulatory requirements, to support timely availability of material for scheduled jobs
   Provides support for facility transfers, secondary locations, remote sites, overhauls, and refueling outages
   Analyzes performance and activity indicators and recommends improvement opportunities and/or corrective actions
   Performs in depth research of material requests and material receipt inspection, using the appropriate on-line material management system
   Works independently in all aspects of warehouse and physical inventory control practices
   Performs other job-related duties as assigned
