We are currently seeking a motivated and eager Electrical Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. The start date is June 15, 2026, M- F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and it will be in Shafter, CA. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to gain practical, hands-on experience in the field of electrical engineering, apply classroom knowledge, and contribute to live projects

Job Description
  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of electrical components, equipment, and systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Support in analyzing test data and suggesting modifications to achieve desired performance and functionality.
  • Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and suggestions.
  • Conduct research to solve technical problems and improve existing designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) tools to create sketches and models.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Understanding of AC/DC circuits, power systems, and basic electrical components.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or similar electrical design software.
  • Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and power system challenges.
  • Ability to convey technical concepts clearly through reports and presentations.
  • Willingness to collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers.
  • Experience or coursework in power systems, micro-grids, or renewable energy (solar/turbine systems).
  • Hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, power quality analyzers).
  • Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and other electrical codes and standards.
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python, MATLAB, or PLC programming).
  • Project management exposure or familiarity with tools like MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • Prior internship or relevant work experience in electrical engineering or energy systems,

Pay Rate: $18.50 - $20.00 an hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
