Job description

Come join our growing team that is locally owned and based out of Salisbury, NC! This is NOT a remote work position. Candidates must be based in the Salisbury, NC area and available to Travel as required.
We are seeking candidates for our Solar Travel Crew. Our ideal candidates will be reliable professionals that are willing and able to travel on a regular basis.
This role involves traveling to solar energy sites nationwide to assist with the safe removal, loading, and preparation of solar panels for recycling. This is hands-on, physical work that supports renewable energy sustainability and environmental responsibility. We are looking for candidates with experience operating equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, bobcats, etc.

Basic qualifications:
  • Must be able to understand and adhere to all safety requirements
  • Must be capable of lifting 75 - 100 lbs. repeatedly
  • Must be capable of working in a labor intensive & fast paced environment
  • Must be capable of operating a pallet jack, forklift, bobcat, telehandler, etc.
  • Must be capable of safely operating a pickup truck and trailer
  • Must be willing / able to travel between 5 to 7 days per week within and outside of the state on a regular basis
  • Must have a current, valid Medical Certificate or be willing to obtain within 90 days of employment
  • Must have a current, valid license and / or be willing to obtain a REAL ID within 60 days of employment (if applicable)
  • Strong decision making and Attention to detail

  • Must be self-motivated, self-directed to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be able to perform in ALL outdoor conditions (extreme heat, humidity, cold, etc.)
