EH&S Safety Manager – Solar Manufacturing (Mesa, AZ)

Paluo Solar is a fast‐growing solar panel manufacturing company operating a 24/7 production facility in Mesa. We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and build a strong “Safety Always” culture across our 400‐employee operation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all EH&S programs for a high‐tech solar manufacturing environment
  • Ensure OSHA, EPA, ADEQ, and environmental compliance
  • Oversee chemical safety, hazardous materials, waste management, and permitting
  • Conduct incident investigations and drive corrective actions
  • Manage safety training, emergency response, and risk assessments
  • Partner with Production, Engineering, and Facilities on equipment and process safety
  • Build EH&S systems and scale the function as the company grows

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of EH&S leadership in manufacturing (semiconductor/solar preferred)
  • CSP, CIH, CHMM strongly preferred
  • Strong regulatory knowledge and communication skills
  • Experience in fast‐paced, scaling operations
